Hi. I am making this wish for my daughter. She was assaulted violently by 3 men at age 11. She was assaulted by another man at age 12. She never told us what happened. During 9th grade sex ed class the topic was brought up. She started having flashbacks and began cutting herself. When she finally told me what had happened she started therapy and was diagnosed with PTSD. A very intense therapy session triggered a very vivid flahback that caused her to swallow 100 tylenol and 100 motrin. Thank god i was home from work or she would have died. I rushed her to the local hospital where they tried to treat her during which she begged me to kill her. She was transfered to Childrens Hospital where she remained in intensive care for 3 1/2 day. She was then transfered to a mental health facility. When she returned to school she started being harrassed mentally and sexually. She was dismissed early from the school year because she was making herself ill with stress. Over the summer things got much worse. People would call her in the middle of the night and say things like "Too bad u didnt kill yourself! Better luck next time" "You deserved what u got u F-in whore". "How was the looney bin?" She tried to go back to summer sports and was made to feel uncomfortable. I contacted the school and they put her on homebound. I spent the summer fighting to have her educated somewwhere else and that finally happened last week. While she is doing well with her new therapist her self esteem is at an all time low. I have 4 other children and cant afford to do the things that i think will help her self esteem. My wish is for a spa day/makeover and/or some nice new clothes. Im hoping that would help her a little because she needs all the help she can get. Thank you.
