My 12 yr old niece just moved here to live with me 2 months ago from texas(i live in iowa). i am disabled and waiting on approval from disability so things here are hard.we are on assistance so that helps. she really needs snow stuff. my daughter was able to start a layaway for me but i could sure use some help getting this out. i make ends meet with help from my grown children and things are tight all over. i know most are thinking way did i take in a teenager if i couldn't care for all her needs? well what she needs the most is someone to be there for her and love her unconditionally, which is what i do. she just needs someone to take care of her and not give up on her. i have put in a layaway at my local kmart ..store #4485 layaway contract number 21710. i owe $135.84 and my payments are $33.96 every 2 weeks. i put in a pair of snow boots, snow pants and 2 thermal underpants and 2 thermal type shirts and 2 long sleeve shirts. and i also put in a pair of snow boots for me. I did not put in a Christmas layaway because she needs these clothes more than Christmas presents. i was able to get her some pants and socks and undies from the salvation army with a once a year free item deal they have here. if anyone can log into kmart.com and enter my store and contract number and help in anyway i would be so grateful. if anyone would like to send her a scarf or gloves or any type of jewelry for her for Christmas i would appreciate it and anything you could do to help.
