This is in regards to a lady, named Lois McClure
She is a long time resident of Hastings Ne and a home owner . She has worked for the same company for 18 years. She is 64 years old.
She has suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoporsis, and COPD for years. She also has techno Rhythm which is rapid heart beat.She ha blockages is her leg and thyroid problems. she fell on ice in december and contracted Necrtizing Fasciitis, which is a flesh eatting desease. She later developed Cellulitis (a skin infection)
She was hospitalized and went through surgery at MLMH on Jan 10,2012. Two days later she was transfered by ambulance to University hospital in Omaha. She was in intensive care for about @ weeks and then under went several surgerys. They cut alot of flesh and muscle from her leg,theigh and buttocks. Which left huge wounds.
The end of Febuary she was put in a nursing home in omaha and later a convelesent home. Where her wounds ere tended to. A home nurse came to check on her several times a week.
She was able to come back to Hastings on July 1st... But still needed her wounds tended. She was so excited that she would be able to go home. But unfortunally she couldn't.
The young couple who was watching her pets moved in and had 5 of their friends there too. nobody cleaned up after themselves. The place was so bad they had to rip up the carpets and throw away the living room furniture and even the stove, in the kitchen. The windows were broken out. The shower, the tub faucet and sink faucet was broken. Light switches and wall plugs were broken. She has to hire a plummer and electrican.
She has filed for disability but has had no news. Now the brakes on her car is acting up. She needs help, there is so many medical bills and other bills. It would be very sad if after going through all of this she loses her home or gets sick again from lack of her meds.
