It has been said that if you give a man a fish you feed him for one
day, but if you teach a man to fish you feed him for a life time.
This is why I am looking for some hero's to help me get the
training I need to provide for my family for the long term. I lost
my previous management position due to a business closure and have
been diligently looking for work on a daily basis without any
success. I have taken on part time positions or odd jobs just to
keep a roof over our heads and food in my kids tummies. I found a
position that I will be able to get in to but I need to be
certified by the state in order to start working. The certification
course and testing costs $400 and I must travel 3 hours away to be
tested at a state certified testing facility over a two day period.
I have been trying to do everything I can get enough money to
register but it seems that another past due notice comes in the
mail or we run out of food and I have to use what I have saved to
provide for the kids. The next testing date is in November and I
have to register 10 days before to get in. I would appreciate
anyone who is willing to help me raise the money I need to get
certified so I can finally stop working these dead end jobs and
make a life for my kids. I have a paypal acct set up so I can
accept any donations. If everyone who reads this even donates a
dollar it will help me out significantly.
**please note that I have tried to find agencies to help cover some
of the costs of the training and certification but most agencies in
my area are either out of funding, or I am not eligible because I
do not receive public assistance as I support my kids solely on my
own."
