Hi, I'm Debbie. The past several months have been difficult. I just
finished all my chemotherapy & radiation treatments and had my
port removed Wednesday (10/17). My 9 year old daughter has been a
wonderful supporter! She'd get me a bottle of cold water and would
lovingly cover me up when I was sick from the chemo. She didn't
mind that we couldn't go and do things as much as we used to. I'll
never forget how good she's been to me!
My wish is for my daughter to have some clothing. Winter is
approaching. She wears size 8 in jeans and 10 in tops. She also
needs high top shoes. Her physical therapist said she'd benefit
from them. He has inserts for her to put in her shoes to help with
the muscle problems. Her dad cannot help...he suffers from a brain
injury and is on disability.
Another wish is for my daughter to receive cards of praise and
encouragement. I'd like her to know how helpful and brave she's
been. She was afraid I was going to die, but I'm not! I'm a
survivor!
Any help provided will be appreciated! Thank you!
