Please help my Autistic son get an iPad for school

Bowen is currently failing the third grade because he is unable to learn the same way as other children. He has never gotten to go to recess, can't eat with other children and is stuck on a point system in his class. I am trying to find a way to get an iPad for Bowen so Bowen can communicate with his teachers and learn how to use social skills on an iPad. iPads are miracles for children that are Autistic. Bowen is a very slow learner and becomes easily frustrated. He is unable to bathe himself or tie his shoes, but he was able to connect with an iPad at Best Buy. The main explanation is that autistic children know what to expect when they tap or slide on the iPad, but he cannot anticipate human expressions and reactions, which frustrates him. Even things like drawing are easier on the iPad, because pencils and crayons are difficult for autistic children to handle. Please help my son so he can learn in his own way.

Try looking up A4cwsn. This program tries to help children with Autism or spectrum diagnoses get Ipads. They have lots of resources!!! Wish I could do more but I hope this helps.

Lord, I come before you today knowing that all power is in Your hand. I know that you are the Lord and that you care for your people.
Right now, my friend is struggling with a difficult trial. I can see her strength is faltering, Lord, and know that you have all of the strength that she needs.

I pray that you will reach down and touch her right now wherever she is at this moment. Let your presence fill the room where she is and let her feel an extra portion of your strength that can help her to get through this day.

My son has autism and the schools are set up with all different devices such as computers etc so there is a way for the kids to comunicate with their teachers. Also they have speech therapists in the schools to help with your children and how to handle and communicate so an ipad is not really a need in this setting but is cool for your little man to have.I hope you get your wish and I'm sorry they seclude your son from others. That is so sad!

You're son is so cute! I hope your ipad hero finds you! My son has autism, too. His ipad is his most prized possession. It goes everywhere with him, and it even opens some doors to interact socially with peers who are interested in his ipad. So I know what a miracle ipads truly are for autistic children. :)
