For stamps & cartoons so I can continue to frequently send letters to a soldier in the war.

Hi everyone, I recently hooked up with a group called soldiers angels. I was inspired to do so because of my hubby serving in the military. When my hubby was away I made sure to send him a letter every day, and packages when I could. Times are tough right now, and money is very tight. I am having a hard time getting basic things we need for our family, let alone sending out mail. But this is something I really want to do. the groups goal is to make sure no soldier goes without hearing their name when mail call is given. So I am hoping for some stamps if anyone has any to spare so I can continue to write to this soldier. Or if anyone would like to send him a letter themselves. Also if you have any funny comics you can clip out of your weekend paper. I think it would be nice to send those. We do not get a paper, but we do get Army times magazine and I try to clip the beetle bailey comics out of there to send. Any help anyone can offer is greatly appreciated. I have a real heart for those who are deployed. It is so tough on them and their families, I would like to do my small part to help. I am able to send letters, but it is tight withour money situation. I would like to be able to send more letters, and start sending care packages too. Thanks so much I really do appreciate it!!!!

    I also wrote a letter to my husband EVERY day while he was in Iraq, as well as sending care packages to him weekly, so I KNOW how the postage adds up. I would love to send you a book of stamps! Isabel :) p.s. please thank your hubby for his service to our wonderful country!

Thank you all so very much. This means so much to me. To have the stamps you sent, and the notepaper, cards etc....It is all so wonderful. I look forward to writing to this soldier each week, and am glad he will be able to hear his name at times when mail call is given. I am sure it will help him during this difficult time at war. I would still like to get some comics to send to him, if anyone has any. I did not get any of those as of yet. Anyway, Thank you all again! You are truly HEROES!

Something that I just found is comics.com. I print out several different comics and send them out. God bless you for supporting our military.

I would love to send you a few stamps and a few dollars when I can. This week it will not be possible but give me an address. My son-in-law is presently serving in Iraq. Hopefully he will be home for a few weeks in May. Thanks for remembering our soldiers.

My prayers are with you for your Hero's out there. I am also involved in an organization call "Hugs" in which we make the cool hug around the neck for soldiers plus we do many other things - letters,care packages, etc. Anything to make life a little bit better for our guys.
