I WISH to take my son to see a specialist in New York at NYU

My son, Elijah, age 7, suffers from severe intractable epilepsy. We are running low on options for treatment at our local Children's hospital, and have contacted a specialist, (Dr. Orrin Devinsky) at NYU who is hopeful and willing to take our case. We need $5,000 for the out-of-pocket medical expenses and the travel to NYC from Seattle, and lodging while we are there!
He has been through steroid and hormone treatments, brain surgeries, the ketogenic diet, and has a VNS implant, (like a pace-maker, but for the brain), and he is still having 100+ small, but brain damaging seizures a day...
His seizures are continuing to get worse despite our best efforts, and we desperately want to get him evaluated at NYU, one of the top epilepsy centers in America, to see if they can help him live a better and longer life!
He is a sweet, beautiful child, who has been severely impacted by his seizures. He is also a STRONG fighter, learning to walk three times in his life, and continuing to learn, grow, play and laugh through everything!
He is an amazing big brother, and an adored son, and we are in desperate need of some help and hope for him.

    Hey Matt - I have 3 one way tickets from jet blue I will donate. There's no strings on my end, the only trick is scheduling (as in, the award flights are first come, first serve, so we might have to play with the dates a little). As the trip moves closer, I'll do what I can to help you price out the trip and stuff. They're good for at least another 6 months.

    Anyway, I will save those tickets for you! :)

    I'm on my way to mark our wish as "granted" But it is beyond granted, and we are so blown away by EVERYONE'S generosity!! Espescially Matt's coworkers and boss at POP! Thank you all so much!! We leave for New York on June 21st, and will stay for 8 days.
