I WISH for breast prosthesis and mastectomy bra

This is for my best friend. She had a double mastectomy when she was 28 (she's 33 now)and now has chemo induced lupus and Lymphedema. She agreed to be in my Aug 1st wedding but I know that she really don't want to because she'll have to wear a dress and of her weight gain and having no breasts. She has been through so much in her life, she lost her parents when she was 6yrs and 7yrs old, cancer and now her husband just last week left her and her 3 kids (11,7,5) for another woman!!

If anyone has been through a mastectomy and no longer needs their prostheses and bra OR if anyone out there would like to help get her one, I will be forever grateful!

    Thank you for your private message; you are correct, your friend should be measured if possible; maybe you can find a local store that sells prostheses and bras; the cost varies. Can you possibly find out the cost, as I know it depends on a variety of things?

    Yes, you are right, I know how she is suffering presently and it's very hard. Hopefully, there is a store in your area that can help you. Sometimes, department stores sell just a basic type of bra and prostheses. Again, these vary in price. Please let me know the cost and hopefully, I can pay for everything for her.

    Just so you know theres a lady here in Las vegas that does an AMAZING job redoing aereols she even takes insurance pm me if you want her phone number for your friend

    I think you mistakenly chose the type of wish "wishes for the heart" which is only for positive thoughts and prayers and doesn't give heroes an opportunity to grant. You need to send an email to security or admin to change the type of the wish. If you have a PayPal account, you may want to have them add that at the same time, as you won't be able to edit the wish for 24 hours yourself.

    My dear, what a wonderful wish for your friend; I had a double mastectomy, but I don't have the prostheses or bras any more. How can I help? I don't see a button to check to grant this wish, or partially grant this wish; I am fairly new to WUAH so I'm not sure how this works.
