I WISH Everyone to read this it is important.
As some of you already know the oldest son Brayden has autism as
well as many other medical conditions. I am writing you all today
to ask for your help in getting him to see a specialist. His appt.
is on June 6th, I know that is a little ways off but this is very
important and I wanted to post early. He is going to see a new dr.
in Jackon, MS at the childrens hospital. I can provide proof of
this if anyone needs to see it. We are going to have to stay for a
few days for testing which means we will have to stay in a motel
room while we are there and also have to pay for our own eats, gas
and just things that the boys will need on the way. I do realize
how much I am asking and please know that I would not if I did not
need to but this is for my son and it is again very important. They
are going to see if he qualifies for a new water treatment for kids
with autism. He has been on many different types of medicine with
no help and this would be a non invasive treatment that we think
could really help him. The drive will take us aprox. 4 hours to get
there. I have looked and there are hotels close to the hospital
thank god because I know nothing about this town. That is a long
way for any child to ride but Brayden it will be a fight lol. I was
hoping to be able to get him some games or something to play on the
way there as well. Well to end it all we could really use any help
even a dollar or two would work miracles if we can get enough
people to help. This means so much to use as we have waited on a
list for over a year to get him in with the dr. Thank you all so
much for reading the and please pray for our family and pray that
we will be able to get him there. Also I have autistic puzzle
pieces that say your the missing link and you put your name on it
we are going to try to get donations that way at my friends church
benifit that they will be having but it is not until the first part

I picked up some books at goodwill, so you can read to him, and i got him a cheap hand held game at wal-mart.
you will have this before your trip. i just need to wait for survey to mail it. but its bought and it is his.

Hi I have called the Ronald Mcdonald house and they are trying to see if they can get us a room at a local motel for a cheaper rate being that they will be full on the dates bray has to go. They said they will call me before we have to go. Fingers crossed..

Hi just wanted to update everyone. We have not recieved the offer from walk upon heros yet but I am sure it is comming. I had someone ask so I though I would just tell everyone. Brayden got a very cute book from stargazer and he really likes it. Thak you so much. I apericate everyone for keeping him in prayer. Someone pmed me and asked how any donations would be spent. I would love for everyone to know so I decided to just post here. The $75.00 that will be donated by the walk on heroes program will go towards gas expenses. I called the childrens hospital today and they said to expect to stay 3 days. This being june 5-7th. On the 5th they need use to come in for paperwork. The 6th is the first appt. to begin testing. Then they said we will go back on the 7th for more test and to talk to the dr about the test done on the 6th. They did not tell us what all test will be done. So any other donations will to towards three nights stay at a hotel close to the hospital, food for while we are gone, and they said there will be a fee we will have to pay that medicaid will not cover but they could not tell me how much. They said it depends on which test they do etc. I did not know that we would have to pay anything. I though medicaid would cover the visit and the test. Thank you heros. God bless.

thanks petunia that is a great idea. if i can get some donations i could make a travel bag up for him with books and colors, games and such. i was going to get him a portable dvd player but never got to and i am not going to ask anyone for that they just cost to much. thank you for your idea i am going to work on making him a wishlist as well.

you should make a walmart wishlist as they have a huge instore selection of handheld games like baseball,soccer,etc... at enexpensive prices. also any donations you get paypal maybe go there and check them out. puzzle books at dollar tree are great. they are huge and my daughter loves them. also doller general has a selection of .10 items right now from card games to coloring books to puzzle books for younger and older kids. all just .10 a piece. i just did a whole class 2 times as i did my sons preschool at easter(thought it better than candy lol!!) and my daughter for her pretend birthday celebration next week since her b'day is in june. works out great for road trips too as i got my kids 2 books each for our vacation. anyways just wanted to suggest those for you to check out and i do hope you get some heros.
