I WISH for help for my family - Daughter is sick with Leukemia

I am writing out of desperation and in the hope that maybe someone can help us or at least point us in the right direction.

I am a stay at home mother to four wonderful children. Our oldest daughter, who is 11, was recently diagnosed with ALL - Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She was sick for a few months prior to her diagnosis but this came as a shock to our family. My son who is 9 is also sick. He has ADHD along with audio and visual hallucinations.

My husband has a decent job, he works for NYS OCFS. But as the sole provider for a family of 6 our savings have depleted quickly in these last few months. Between hospital stays for her to receive chemotherapy and him needing to stay home (unpaid) to watch our younger children , he has lost a lot of hours at work. It is almost 100 miles round trip for us to the hospital. The gas is killing us, we now need new brakes and tires as well. Since January we have traveled close to 3000 miles for treatment and Doctor visits. For the months of May and June she is having chemotherapy 4 days a week, 100 miles away round trip. Our bills are piling up and our rent is now 3 months behind.

I am trying to stay strong but it is so hard when it seems like our whole world is falling apart.

We have never been a family to ask for help but as I sit here and write this I have no other choice. We are risking losing our home at the moment and I do not see any clearing in the near future.

If you could maybe help with some sort of fundraising or point us in the right direction that would be great. Or maybe you could make a donation, every little bit helps.

We are willing to provide proof of anything you may want or need. I am also posting a script written by the Dr. stating that she has leukemia.

I wanna do something to help this beautiful little girl. I don't know what it's like to have a child with cancer and hope I never do. I can't imagine both the pain and the hope that comes with it that your whole family must feel. I can't send much cause it will be out of the child support, but I gotta send something.     Thank goodness that she is doing OK. I have thought of you often these past couple of weeks and wondered how things were going. I am so happy to see that you are still receiving donations.     Brianna is feeling better for the most part today. Her brain is looking good. They are thinking this is all side effects from her Methotrexate (chemotherapy). Not sure what the next steps will be as she is scheduled for chemotherapy for the next four days.So far they have put a hold on it until she stays stable for 24 hours. Please continue to pray.

    I am sitting here in PICU trying to get myself together while Brianna is resting. These two days have been the most challenging yet. Brianna was very combative and confused after her seizure Friday night. They thought she may have a blood clot on the brain but the MRI came back OK. This morning she woke up and was back to herself =) The joy didnt last long ... while she was eating breakfast she suddenly dropped her fork. She lost control of her right hand. Her speech became slurred and her mouth was drooping on the right side as well. The Dr. said she MAY have had a small stroke. The plan was to watch her for a few and then do a MRA scan if she did not improve. She was resting peacefully until about 11am. She woke up screamin in pain. Her head hurt. She got confused and combative again. She is going for a MRI and MRA and DWI as soon as her breakfast is digested, they cannot sedate her for those tests until then. She is resting again on Morphine. PLEASE PLEAE pray for Brianna Lynn Chase

    I really want to THANK ALL OF YOU for helping SOOOOO much!! We never expected to receive so much help honestly. Things are slowly coming together for our family and we have you to thank! We are still struggling to catch up on this back rent but we have now made our vehicle safe to drive and have enough gas to take her to chemotherapy. WOW!

    Hello! I don't have much because I am out of work and living on child support at the moment, but I want to help. I am a single mom of 3 and I do complain about how hard it is and this and that....but then I read your story. You know, my life is golden and I should be more thankful. I want to send something, anything. Has the money you got so far helped you pay any rent payments or given you a few trips back and forth to the doctor?     OMG this is the first for me seeing this one. I don't know how I missed this wish and thank GOD you hero's are helping. Children with cancer are the hardest things to battle most childrens hospitals are not within the families distance and most have to travel far. I've been lucky that my hospital when we were actively going thru treatment with my son was 20 minutes from my house. I love seeing this kind of thing happen and this is the reason why I strive to find a cure for these kids. I hope and pray your lil girl goes thru this well. I know the complications but I thank God every day my son is still here maybe Caleb and Bri can both help be a voice and find a cure.
