to find a kidney for my Dad.

My father is 55 years old and his health is deteriorating fast. He is in need of a kidney to save his live. He is a wonderful man that has always done everything in his power to help others whether it be providing Chrismas for a needy family or giving someone his last dollar to put a smile on their face, and now it is he that is in need of some help. He is type O negative and so we are looking for a living donor with this blood type as well. My sister and I are not candidates for this. Please help if you can.

Words cannot express the miracle that has transpired here. This simply began with a stranger's suggestion on craigslist.org after reading my first attempt at the search for a donor for Dad. I posted an ad on there and one of the first responses I received was from a woman suggesting that I try WUAH and that she was praying for us. Within 30 or so minutes of creating my WUAH profile and posting my wish "Guardians Angel" responded. After undergoing a series of tests and countless prayers from everyone both on the site and our families it is determined that she is 100% a perfect match as a donor to my father. She is one of the most remarkable people I have ever been blessed to have met. I love her dearly and we are all so very grateful that God has chosen to put her in our path. This is truly a miracle of God from start to finish and the power of prayer is conveyed. I am sitting here in tears after reading this. THe generosity shown my GuardiansAngel is awesome. I have family members who have needed transplants so I know how hard it is to receive an organ, especially from a living donor. May God Bless you All!

Hi Everyone, just wanted to post a quick update. Shari and my Dad are out of surgery and doing very well despite the discomfort. The surgeries went perfectly. A Life Will be Enhanced to bring dreams to reality on August 25, 2009. Our Transplant as been scheduled for this date. I will arrive in Houton 8/17 for the beginning stages of Pre-Op. Surgery is scheduled for 8/25/09. Rene and I both will be admitted on 8/24/09. I will be a resident of Houston for 3 weeks post op. Please say prayers for us all. Rene is beyond words, as am I.
