I WISH for a refrigerator

my husband was deployedto iraq, he sustained nerve damage to his shoulder while there and spent a year in florida in the wounded warrior program, while he was gone it seemed like everything decided to break down. since he has been home we have had to replace the entire furnace/a/c, vehicle motor, couple of window frames and so on. the fridge has not kept ice cream frozen for a year and now milk will spoil in three days. the dryer also is like playing a slot machine, sometimes you win and it works lol, but we can wait on it. i will hang clothes if i have to. i hate to ask but with all the other things we have gone through everything we saved while he was deployed.
i called the local repair shop and they said it would cost just as much with the service call and repairs as it would for a new one. i have been looking in the paper and craigslist but they are either "good for a garage" or almost as much as a new one. it must be the right size to fit in the hole for the fridge also.
i hate to ask with so many needing help.
we have a lowes in the next town over, if anyone has any lowes gift cards with any thing left on them it would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
and my granddaughter would love you forever to be able to have icecream and popcicles again. :)

  yayyyyy!!! got the fridge today!!!!! its so awesome!!! i took pictures of them putting it in so will send them in, and kimber cant stop talking about getting ice cream. lol. i had a 6hr dog rescue transport after it was delivered so didnt get to post till now. my family and i once again wish to say thank you to kokothegorilla and the chapters/members granted this wish for us.

  Absolutely this is a TEAM WISH, as klr1983 points out; I just chose the words 'WUAH Foundation and all the Chapters'; as Wish Ambassador I spent hours on the phone over the past couple of days and contacted nine appliance companies trying to talk them into donating the fridge, but to no avail; however, after speaking with Lowe's six times, they graciously made a wonderful offer and 'Team Wish and many Chapters and Programs' graciously paid for the fridge.

  i want to thank kokothegorilla and ALL the WUAH members and officers who worked to make this wish come true for me and my family, and also LOWES. you all are truly heroes and i thank God for all the Blessings in my life. i am just sorry if it is delivered tommorow i will miss it i will be at a mobile adoption for the shelter. now i am working on cleaning the old one, (where did that come from and what is it???) thank you all once again, my husband is still in shock. :)
