I WISH to buy a laptop for daughter before her brain surgery.

Juleigh just graduated from high school with the dreams of going to college this fall in pursuit of her dream of becoming a nurse and helping others. However, God had bigger plans for her which includes brain surgery for Chiari Malformation. The surgery is called Decompression Surgery. The basic process is that the doctors remove some of the base of her skull and part of the first couple of vertebra in order to "make room" for the brain juices" or spinal fluid to flow freely. They will also remove part of her brain as it is restricting the blood flow in her main artery. The pain and suffering she has had to endure these past 2 years has been so hard on Juleigh and our family as not much is known about CM and very few doctors will even attempt the surgery. Because of this our medicals bills have been more than we ever planned for. My wish is for Juleigh to have laptop to take to the hospital with her to stay in touch with friends so she can keep her chin up during the pain. Also she will need this when she starts college in Jan. No one can tell her otherwise as this is her plan, even if she has to take classes online from the hospital. Gift cards for Walmart would be a great help in any amount. I will keep a post of what we need until we reach out goal. The one she wants is Dell and It's PINK! but she won't be picky. I think the total price before taxes is $598. Thanks for any help and all prayers.

  Thanks so much for the support and prayers, but how do i get the wish "verified"? There is a benefit fund being set up on Monday at our local bank to help with surgery cost do I just post that address? Thanks for the help and suggestions.

  I truly hope for a hero to purchase this computer for Juleigh. I understand how important it is to have a computer to keep you connected to the outside when you're in the hospital. I've been in a long-term facility for several years from a very young age due to disability. I've only had a computer for a little over a year and I can't even begin to explain what a difference it's made in my life. This computer would be a true lifeline for Juleigh. I'm not financially able to help but please heroes if you can please help this beautiful young woman who wants to be a nurse and sounds as though she has a true vocation to become one.   Jules' Mom....I don't have the means to grant this wish...if I did, I surely would but have you thought of contacting the Make-a-wish foundation or Kids Wish.org? They grant wishes everyday for kids with serious illness...I know they granted a wish for my little girl. Dont know if this will help or not just thought I would pass it on.
