I WISH Help for my family

They say when it rains it pours and I am a true believer of that. My husband and I have 2 beautiful little girls. Jaleesa is 7 and Jayla will be 2 in January. This last year has been so hard on us. In January we buried my mother in law unexpectedly at the age of 51 due to a stroke. My husband and I married in May of this year and he lost his job the day after we married. What a wedding gift! He currently gets unemployment but that barely pays the bills. We live in low income housing and they take 1/3 of his income, plus with all of our other bills there's nothing left over. We are barely surviving.

2 1/2 weeks ago our youngest daughter as well as myself were diagnosed with neurofibromatosis (AKA Elephant Man disease). My whole life makes sense now, all of my learning disabilities and all of the tumors I have on my body that I always thought were just cysts. I am scared for my baby and what her future holds. We have been traveling back and forth to a pediatric neurologist at a children's hospital in Danville, which is 2 hrs away. All the traveling has put a financial strain on us and we are now broke. I went to a local church for help, they helped me with household items such as toilet paper, toothpaste, dish detergent etc, we wouldn't even have those items without them. I have also contacted our local transportation company with help with expenses for going back and forth but have not received a response.

My family really needs help and In desperate need of a angel. I have nowhere else to turn. Anything will be appreciated. Our 7 year old needs clothes and loves Hannah. She is a girly girl and likes nail polish and makeup. My 2 year old needs warm clothes and has grown out of her crib. Hand me Downs are welcome. If we could get a few Christmas gift for her too we would be so grateful. She loves Dora and babydolls.

    I hope that all is well with you and your family,trust me there is a god above.i keep you and your family in my prayer.I believe in my heart that you will find a hero.I wish I was in a position to send you money but I'm at a stand still in my life right now.But i shared your story with my 13 year old daughter and this is what she told me. ma when we was homeless and living where ever you always asked me what was in my bag that i carried with me and i always told you nothing but ma I lied and I'M sorry (she went and got the bag)inside this bag was her set of Hanna Montana curtains that I bought her before I knew we was getting put out she looked at me and said its not much but I want the little girls to have this.And not jumping to my situation but this is why i want to do something special for my baby because I told her that I wouldn't be able to get her anything for x-mas she still is a giver.with this being said would you accept this gift.

I have gotten you the Hannah Montana sheet set along with a comforter for my beautiful Jaleesa and the giraffe toy for my lovely Miss Jayla.     What size is your two year old?? I might have some clothing that she could have and some nailpolish and that type for your 7 year old, I hope everything gets cleared up and remember, its how parents view their children is how they see themselves expecially so little. As long as you show them how beautiful they are, they'll see it too. I really hope this helps!

    Aw this wish has made me cry:( I sure wish i could help with somethin you have my prayers for you and your babies .I was gettin so overwhelmed with my stresss then to come here and read youre wish made me be thankful and take a second to Apprecaite my life and my freinds and family you never nkwo what tommorow hold my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given less then a yr to live on june 15th .Never saw it comeing , Prayers and hugs sent to you today and if i come into a few dollars i will come back to this wish .HUgs(())

    Todays appointment went pretty well. We got to sit down with the pediatric neurologist and ask questions and just learn a little more about this illness. Our next step with Jayla is a audiologist to make sure theres no tumors in her ears because her ears are very sensitive. The doctor seemed to be more concerned about me because I have a tumor on my spine. I was told my daughter is okay for now and to work on myself and get to a neurologist. Since knowing about the diagnosis I have put my health aside to give full attention to my daughters health problems. I guess its time to work on myself now. Just a little scared considering the location of my tumor. I'm sure God will get us through whatever comes our way. Thank You All for being so supportive to my family!

    Keyma Thank you very much..that is so thoughtful of your daughter. Thank you also for keeping us in your prayers. They are very much needed.
    **Update**
    We go back to the pediatric neurologist on Friday..we are a little nervous but hoping for the best. My oldest daughter goes to the eye doctor tomorrow just to check her eyes and make sure nothing is going on back there. I was told not to worry about her being as thought she doesnt have any spots but Im being cautious. When you have this illness there is a 50% chance to pass it to your child and my 2 yr old has it. I'm 27 and just finding out that I have this so I want my oldest checked..to be on the safe side.
