For Smiles

Smiling is such an important way to express one's happiness, unfortunately, many of us take a simple smile for granted everyday. Others would give anything to simply see their child smile for the first time.
I think we can all agree that:
Every child deserves food and shelter
Every child deserves to feel loved
Every child deserves the chance to fulfill their dreams
Every child deserves to be in good health
Every child deserves a gift under the tree Christmas morning
Wouldn't you agree, Every child deserves the chance simply smile?
Please meet Rithnary, he is from Cambodia~Doesn't his smile make you smile? It does me! As you can see in the other picture, Rithnary may have never smiled if it weren't for the heroic team of doctors, nurses and assistances from Operation Smile.
Operation Smile began back in 1982 and since that time, they have worked tirelessly to help way over 100,000 children smile all over the world.
It's not just that though-some couldn't eat, some couldn't talk but now, through the dedication of many, many hero's like yourselves-these children can eat, can talk and can smile. Because of the volunteer efforts of so many-it only costs 240 dollars to change one child's life forever. That's really a small price to pay if you think about it.
The Wishuponahero Foundation has graciously agreed to partner up with me on turning this wish into a reality and for that, I am forever grateful-Thank you Dave!!!
I have also had quite a bit of assistance from Shannon Donovan at Operation Smile-a Donor Relations Team Leader in creating this wish-Thank you Shannon!
So...I come to you today and beg for you to open your hearts and your wallets if you are able to-even just one dollar will make a difference.
I will be helping Operation Smile now and in the long term. Today, I am offering 5 dollars on my wish-will you help me please?

    Yes, they are true heros. indeed. I watch them on Tv.To see the parents, when they see their child after this volunteered surgery is heartwarming,they are so grateful. You are doing a tremedous job supporting this organization. I will add my 5 too.

Dave informed me this morning that you amazing hero's helped to raise a total donation for Operation Smile, after paypal fees etc of $320.00- That is amazing, fantastic, beautiful, selfless, and means the world to me! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart as would the children who will see the benefits from what you have done. I am now connecting Dave with Shannon to have this donation finalized. I am going to close out this wish today-You guys are incredible!!! I hope that each and everyone of you know that what you did to help these children is one of the most selfless things in the world. Every day you should pat yourselves on the back and say "I made a difference in a child's life" because you DID!! What a wonderful thing your doing if I had the funds I donate, but I'm broke. My baby was born with a left incomplete cleft and palate he has had 2 surgeries and is scheduled for his last next month.

Update: According to my account info from Dave yesterday, we had a total of 58 dollars-so with today's offers so far, we are up to $98.00. This means that 142 more is needed for one smile and 382 more if we could pull off two smiles. Thank you SO much to everyone who is helping such a great cause. Your little bit of help makes a very BIG difference to these children and their families. It would be terrific if we could collectively get the word out also by sharing this wish.
