I WISH for and air purifier and a few vaporizers

Ok so heres the story. I have 4 kids. 2 of which have severe asthma. Right this second I am sitting in OSF St Francis hospital with my 4 mth old. She has had severe breathing problems since she was 1 mth old. SHe has been on albuterol and pulmicort breathing treatments. Albuterol everday every 4 hrs. The pulmicort twice daily. Sunday night I noticed she hadnt been eating very well and she was wheezing, I took her to the doctor on Monday, was told to increase the pulmicort to 3 times daily and increase albuterol to every 3 to 31/2 hrs. I did that and took her back to the doctor on tuesday because she wasnt eating very well and wheezing worse. From there she was admitted into St.Marys in Streator. Her pulsox dropped to 71 percent and she was then brought here to OSF St. Francis hospital in Peoria. They are running tests to find out what allergies she has but meanwhile she was diagnosed with RSV and broncholitis and bronchial asthma. I really need and air purifiers they say THERAPUR in the best. Last the longest. Anyway as I said 2 are asthmatic. My 8 yr old daughter is on ventolin 2 puffs every 4 hr and flovent 2 puffs twice daily. She has already had the flu and pnemonia twice this year. Please help me get my kids healthier. If anyone can find one cheaper than that please let me know. We have already looked into it and medicaid will not pay for it. Please if anyone can help please let me know. Like I said their health is number 1.

    I am forever grateful that walkonfoundation is able to send me a air purifier. I am still in need of humidifiers. I am also looking into getting a vaccuum. My broke about a week ago so hopefully I can get a new one soon. I added one to my wishlist like the one I want. If anyone could please help with the humidifiers and a vaccuum I would greatly appreciate it. Money is extremely tight right now especially staying and hour and half away from home. I am not even sure how I am going to pay rent this month with as much money as it is taking away from us right now. My husband hasnt been able to work since the baby was admitted and I am not currently working. I cant afford anything extra right now but I really want to make my babies healthy again. They are testing the baby for cystic fibrosis. With her having such severe breathing problems I am supposed to get a pulsoximeter to monitor her pulse and oxygen rate especially while she is sleeping. They are expensive and I may not be able to get

    WOW! So happy to hear that your wish is granted. I know how hard it is to do the breathing treatments so often,as my 2 year old son recently had breathing problems as well.

    I am glad your wish was granted but about 5 years ago we were in the same position as you are now. The air purifiers helped but we got no real relief until we invested in a rainbow vaccuum. It got the junk out of thier beds, furniture and cleans the air, sweeps dusts and then dumps everything into water so there is no dust or germs back into thier breathing air. Absolute miracle for us! Within two weeks of cleaning the house and air no more breathing problems. That was 14 years ago and my kids went on to be saxaphone players and have NEVER had problems again! Hope this info helps

    The humidifiers can be any humidifier. It doesnt have to be the ones on there I just thought they were cute. I do need more than one. I would like to have one for each of the kids but need one at least for the 2 with asthma. Thank you!
