I WISH for Bug's Smile back- please read..

Hi.... As some of you know Bug has 2 broken feet due to JRA weekening the ligaments in his feet.He went down a slide at school and both feet broke! He is in a wheelchair and very angry and anxious sence he is such an active kid.The pain from the arthritis is made worse due to his autism and celiacs. He is so upset about this that he is causing himself to get sick.. I am at my wits end as to how to help him.We took him to a specialist and just got back.She really wants to see him on 'EO28 Splash'. I also am wishing for anything to chear him up...a card or a little something to make him smile.

  Roonryk, please consider asking the hospital dietitian, while he is an inpatient, for as many "freebies, samples, and take-homes" as you can. I worked in a childrens' hospital for 10 years. The reps smooze the dietitians with cases of freebies all the time. See if a few of those cases can be for you. :)

  ********UPDATE*********** Bug had to have his casts 'broken/sliced' because his feet were swelling. His arthritis is getting worse in his feet. He will be going into Chrildren's Hospital in Minneappolis on Monday for a series of tests. The ped here wants them to check for fluid around the heart (inflamation). I am overwhelmed and well...scared to death! He is not happy to go, but seems to understand and wants the pain to stop. Thanks again for everything:) Blessings!

  I checked eBay and you could triple your supply of this much-needed health staple by using your donations to purchase from eBay. Just check the feedback of the seller, make sure the supply is not outdated (or even close), and that the case-lots are sealed.

  msmalika2222- it isn't the schools fault! He has juvenile arthritis. It weakened the ligaments making it very easy for him to break his feet. It could have happened when he jumped out of bed.
