Tonight I am here because I am in need of a heroic hand or two. I recently was given the opportunity to get a minivan from a friend; he's letting me pay for it when I go back to work. Bad news is, it needs new tires. The ones on it are almost bald. I am a single disabled mom to one daughter and I recently had my niece added to my brood. I am laid off. I go back in March. With the doctor's appointdaughter we need safe transportaion. The snow that we are getting now has made me even more paranoid to drive without safe tires. Please, if you are able, help us by donating to my tire fund. I know that ments for myself and my I don't have my red star so I don't know if asking for help from a Wish Ambassador is an option. I did submit my information but I know that it takes time to get the star. I have been a member for about two months now and I have tried to grant as many wishes as I am able to. I want to thank you for taking the time to read my wish... my plea for help.

    Not that this totally helps, but I will send you $110 for 2 tires. I like Tracy's idea of checking out the junkyards... (maybe you'll even be able to find 4 for the $110 and have $$ left over)!

I refunded the money that was donated because I did not feel right accepting the donation when the hero needs help with her electric. I appreciate her kindness but I wanted to go with what I felt was right.

i pray you get your tires. I got tires for my car at the junk yard here for $10.55 a piece, almost new. They even put them on for me.

I just went through needing tires for my car which really is a life and death problem for me as I have to have dialysis 3cx a week due to kidney failure.I had a blow out coming home I was able to drive to the nearest off road store before I stopped. I also have a severely damaged bad heart and unable to walk distances.Check around for a repo yard and see if they have any tires to sell off of repo cars this is what we did and found the tires I could afford for my car and they cost me $12.00 a peice and in almost new condition. Sorry about that... It is a 1997 Plymouth Voyager. The tire size is Size P205/75R-14 95S VSB. The tires are $55 per tire. Thank you.

Hope you find some hero's i live in michigan too, i think about an 45 minute drive from where you are. Check craiglist or freecycle.org for tires. Also try your local tire stores they often sell good used tires really cheap. Sorry i cant help we are tapped out and not making ends meet right now. But i am praying you find some hero's.
