I WISH For Groceries and Thanksgiving Dinner

We are struggling right now. We took in a friend and her mom and sometimes her daughter expecting them to help wth the bills. Neitherof themcan find a job though and it has been 2 months. We used up every bit of money we had for *extra* bills (the ones we normally come up short on) on groceries and their share of he bills and now cannot afford groceries or even to pay the electric bill right now. I spent what litle I could on groceries but the bills that are coming up are going to be more than my fiances next paycheck (friday) so for the next 3 weeks we cant buy more groceries or have a thansgiving dinner. We also are going to need an extra canof Alimentum this month as we got 7 from WIC (supposed to get 8) and it normally takes 8 -9 to last him though the month. I am hoping to find a hero who can help us with this or with any part of our electric bill (I can send the bill and account info to show proof of amount and that its late.) I know I wished for thanksgiving dinner before but I contacted admin and they said could repost for thanksgiving dinner since i cannot get a hold of the person who offered to grant and it has been more than 30 days. If I hear from them I will let everyone know. Thanks so much I really want to have groceries in the house and also have a thanksgiving with my family since it is one of my favorite holidays and I love to cook thanksgiving dinner!!!We have walmart, meijer, kroger, cub food, sams club, and aldi here.Thank you all for reading.

  Thank you to everyone who helped out with getting this granted! I cannot tell you how grateful I was to have my electricity still on for Thanksgiving and also a wonderful turkey! The turkey was really good and is still serving as lunch for a few more days!

  Thanks for all the info They have (as far as I know since I cant makre them do anything) tied the temp agencies and applied at many places. Her mom I think is getting a job (she had a 2nd interview today) but she has benn here even longer than er mom and hasnt even had an interview.

  I tried contacting the member on my thanksgiving wish and havent heard back. I know they were having some difficulties of their own thelast time i talked to them though. I contacted admin about it since i hadnt heard back but if they do respond i will let you know.

  Here is a website for your friend to check out for a job it is called Labor Ready http://www.laborready.com they hire for day jobs and pay that day or the next. It may lead to something permanent you never know. Also have her try Temporary Agencies in your area. Many employers are using Temp Agencies over straight hires as they can save money in the long run. Good luck

  I looked at your thanksgiving wish-I would try contacting that member as they seem really reliable they maybe just forgot

  As your friend is not working, she should be able to get food stamps. She just needs to tell them she is responsible for their groceries. That would at least help with food. Best wishes to all.
