  I am asking for help of other heroes to come together on this wish. Walk On Heroes does have all documentation on this wish, and everything is as stated above. We have helped her with about half of the electric bill that needs to be paid ASAP, and it appears someone else has heleped with some food and part of the water bill. Could some hereoes come together and assist this family with the rest of the electric and some rent help. Thanks for your time. -Josh-

  I have favorited this wish and I'm going to see what I can come up with. It might not be much but I'll see what I can do. I'm in Tampa too so I wouldn't have to worry about shipping or anything. I would help financially but I'm two months behind on my rent and other bills are due too.

  I just want everyone to know that as Amber's mom I do everyhing I can. Yes, I am a nurse. However, I work under DCF in florida to care for severely & persistantly mentally ill idividuals. It really doesn't pay much for a BSN but i feel that it is my calling to help those who most people do not understand or care to help. Unfortunately, we can't even get help for our clients. Most agencies are depleted of funds, ect. I am also paying over 200.00 per month for my daughter's braces. They are a necessity and not for cosmetic purposes. Therefore, i am hoping somene else will find it in their heart to help out. Amber and I have struggled for years. I was a single mom andI went back to school to make her life better. We just don't have family supprt at all. The only person who helped turn our lives around passed away Feb 7th of 2007. We loved him so much and he was taken from us way too soon. He taught us what unconditional love is , as well as what a Christian is. We are kindof alone now.

  I don't mean to sound discouragable but I myself have just tried calling 211 and there are no agencied that can help at this time. there is just no money. I am in the same situation myself. St. Vincent De Paul is food only now I just called today all you get is a recording. I wish I could help. If I can find a place to help I will let you know

  Angel Food Ministries can help with food. A box of food feeds a family of 4 for a week and cost about $30. Visit angelfoodministries.org to find a church or group near you.
  Disability will turn most people down 3 times before they are approved. A lawyer will take your case usually after you have been turned down 3 times. They will only take payment if you win your case and that comes from your back SSI payment. Don't give up . God Bless you :)

  Please call 211 that is the number for United Way they may help to find a church or agancy that helps families in need. Also call your local Catholic Church and ask for St Vincent De Paul Society they also help with food, rent, utilities.
  italianurse there is anyway that you can help your daughter, any social worker at your work place that may ref her to any agency? or help with the basics they need?

  Hey Amber,
  I know this was hard for you to do. I am praying a hero will come your way. Even tough you are my daughter, YOU are my hero! I am proud of the young woman you have become. You have been through so much and still always think of others first..so I know this was purely out of desperation. you know I will help with what I can. Money is just so tight. I was going to suprise you and put a wish on here for you. It wouldn't let me because as you know i made a wish for the patients at MHRC to have Christmas. Although no one has responded from here, i am still hopeful. To anyone out there wondering about this young lady, she has been through so much, including being assaulted at a very young age (thus she has an almost 5yr old) Not to embarass you Bam, but people need to know the fighter and precious person you are. You have been other's angel in their times of need.....now my lovely daughter..it is your turn! I love you,
