I WISH for $1 donations to help bathe Weslee

My son, as you might know from former posts, suffered severe brain damage one year ago. He is a very large 20 month old (nearly 40 lbs). I haven't been able to bathe him in a few months, only sponge baths,due to his size and the fact that it is very dangerous for him to be around water. Weslee has pharyngeal dysphasia which is just technical for can't swallow or manage his own secretions, that's why he is fed thru a tube in his belly. If I were to drop him in the water or he had a seizure while in the bathtub he would aspirate and end up with aspiration pneumonia which could ultimately kill him. We just spent a couple of weeks in the hospital and they bathed him in a bath chair which was wonderful, that is why I'm asking for the dollar donations. I found a similiar bath chair for $199.00 on sammonspreston.com but of coarse I can't afford it by myself. I've attached the page the chair is on, please help me get Weslee clean.

    Congrats to you! And BRAVO to the foundation granting this wish! WOO HOO!!!
    I will be praying for you, and always remember, YES, he is still in there! Emmie had a flat line EEG when she was 3, and complete cortical blindness. The docs told me she had "reached her plateau" but I never gave up and kept praying. They are not always right, and you know your little guy better than anyone! Hang in there.
    One thing I wanted to note: the bath chair listed here sits well above the tub, so you would still essentially be sponge bathing him. There are some that sit lower into the water. Something to consider.

    His insurance won't cover one I've already tried. You wouldn't believe the things they won't cover for him.

    does he have any insurance? If so call them as they have to cover one.
