for a home for my friends that are about to be homeless

My friends and employees are about to be homeless. They work for Westwind in Bixby Oklahoma. Cindy has cancer, she had her breast removed about 10 days ago.

They are managers at a local Mobile Home Park in Bixby,OK. They were told my the owner that they had 30 days to get alot of stuff done. It was the same time she did chemo and the next few days she had the breast removed. They are trying very hard, but I'm sure the owner is going to let them go on the 27th of April 2010. They'll be homeless and without insurance. They need to be out of the house in 5 days. They'll move anywhere in the Tulsa area.

Praise the Givers and God Bless the receivers ..Thank God for the heros.. My husband also has cancer and we lost our home.. It is a very sad feeling but I thank God we had a home to come to.. It needs work but that is ok too .. God will see a way for that to get done too..

Due to the city inspector not being able to inspect the property until Tuesday of this week the utilities were not turned on until yesterdy. Some moving will commence this evening and they will be totally moved in tomorrow.

over 20,000.00 dollars in goods and services were donated for this wish, the movement of the trailer to its current location would have cost between 5,000 -8,000.00. There were and still are mny expenses that could not be donated by the community and the monies raised here on WUAH have covered many but not all of them. There was taxes on the home that had to be paid prior to the home being permitted to be moved, permits for the water, sewer, gas and electrical hookups. There was materials that needed to be purchased, such as 18 ABS pads that had to be purchsed just to set up the home in the park, utility hook ups and lot rent.
If anyone would like to see the pics of the progess we made throughout the rehab please contact me and I will give you link to my facebook pics. The home was presented to them by Dave Girgenti in person ysterday, May 7th. We still have some work to do and materials to get but we will get it done

UPDATE: The mobile home has been moved and set up in the mobile home park as of yesterday evening.
We are working on getting an electrician and plumber in within the next day or two and we have a local boy scout troop coming to the home on Saturday to help clean and we are working on getting some skilled persons in to help us get this done very quickly.
Cindy was advised this morning that she and her husband both will be terminated Tuesday morning and they will then have 5 days to vacate the home they are in now.
