I WISH for help, fiancee injured in hit and run
I will include the links at the end of this to the stories in our local newspaper, tv, etc.
Todd remains in a nursing home (he is only in his 30's) in a vegetative state and nurses have no idea if he will ever come out of the state he is in. I love and miss him so much, and would do anything to have my friend, my fiancee, their father, back in my arms again. It makes me sad that my two children may never be able to interact with their father again or enjoy the things children and their fathers should.
I have two small children to support and I do not drive nor do I have a vehicle. I however do hold a job at the local dollar general approx. 3 miles from my house that I walk to. The cost of my babysitter usually takes up most of my paycheck. I recently found a hero on here that is temporarily helping me with babysitting on a volunteer basis, but my check still does not cover my monthly bills.
I am asking for prayers for Todd, that he may miracously recover. I am asking for donations to help me with my bills and to put gifts under our tree. Thank you for your time.
If anyone needs any verifying documents I can get them to you, also one of the users on here is local to me and can verify this situation also. His user name is klr1981 and he has given me permission to use his name.

Jess... I can't believe next month is going to be a year already. Yet, it's hard to believe thats all the longer I've known you and your family. I've been here by you and the kids' side as much as possible since the walkathon I did for you after hearing about the accident. I've seen all your struggles... all your obstacles... all your goods & bads... I've got to know you and the kids and you've all become like family to me. I wish there was so much more I could do to help you guys' financially. You know if I could, I would give you everthing you and the kids need. Unfortunately, all I can offer to give for you right now is prayers. & trust me... I do every night. I'm sitting here crying writing this right now. As much as you thank me and show gratitude for the little things I try and help you with... I feel so useless to you and the kids needs. Hi Jess, I am truely sorry to hear what has happened. I don't have much for childern stuff but I did pick up a Rice Paddy Baby doll this summer at a yard sale. If you think one of your childern would like it, then I will get in in the mail before X-Mas. I will be sending money to both of the addresses for you and for Todd. It won't be much but the way I see it is if everyone sends $10.00 or $20.00 it adds up. I have passed this site on to others in my address list and want to thank the person who posted this site on Craigs List.

Tears overwhelm me, reading the newspaper articles on this tragic and senseless accident. I am so very sorry.
I don't have a lot left, but after my daughter learned of what happened, she got all of her money out of her piggy bank and asked that I send it to you, with what little bit I have in my purse.

I really sincerly wanted to thank everyone for prayers, thoughts & donations1 thank you all so much!
Ever since more people have found out about this, it seems the good lord has been watching over us more & more! and the children are being themselves again, even @ most times very stressful but thank you for helping me to give them a christmas but @ the same time trying to instill on them what christmas really is about! thank you again SOOO much! Dear Jess, I have just found out about your plight and all I can say is that I am so sorry for you love. I wish that I could make it all better !! I have spoken with Josh from Walk On Heroes who is friends with Jess. The most recent update I heard today was that that Todd has a severe infection and his IV sites have also gotten infected. There is nothing more the hospital can do for him and he has been sent back to the nursing home to be made comfortable. I was told they are giving him about a week yet. Jess is not handling this well. Please continue to keep Jess, the kids, Todd, and the family in your prayers. It is much appreciated.

I cry every time I read this. it made me search for my MOTHERS MANUAL prayerbook that I have from my grandma. Here is your prayer for a sick husband.
Most tender Jesus, when You walked the earth, You were known everywhere as the divine Healer. In the Gospels we learn how the sick were brought to You in numbers by their friends and relatives and are told how without exception they received Your compassion-when as many as were brought to You were healed of their infirmities.
Now as of old You are still the omnipotent Physician, and the mercy of Your Sacred Heart has not changed.
With confidence, then, I turn to You now, that You might lay the hand of Your healing mercy on my sick husband and restore him to health. Amen.

Jess, I'm Josh's cousin and have been working with him to raise funds for your family. I have heard amazing things about about your strength throughout this situation and hope that you continue to be strong for your children and and keep being the mom they need you to be. I work for a foster care agency and have a lot of resources at my disposal to help with clothing, christmas gifts, and anything else you may need. Please don't be afraid to ask. my dad just got hit by a car in august and it left him in the same state it has left your fiancee i am going through a very bad time myself and i wish i could do something for you bbut the most i can and will do for you is pray please pray for my dad also i hope they both pull through!

I want to take time to thank everyone that is helping this family. There are truly some wonderful heroes looking over this family. I see there are still 34 people "favoriting" this wish. I would ask if those that are still favoriting would think of sending the family $10 or $20 to pay for bills. It appears that they have some help in the Christmas area as far as gift cards, Xbox, etc. but my worry is that this single mother will continue to be overwhelmed with her bills. I am willing to help provide any information anyone may need. Thank you again for helping this family!!
