I WISH to raise money to cover Sonny's life saving vet bills

On December 15th, Sonny was mauled by 3 large dogs - she is my good friends dog and I am trying to raise money for the $2,200 vet bill. She is so cute - I am glad she is alive - has a split sternum with 2 cracked ribs (hence her little poinsettia body cast) and sutures in her leg plus numerous bite wounds :(

My friend didnt have the money to pay and still owes the vet some money some was borrowed and must be repayed and they have no way to pay. I know times are very tough right now for everyone but I am trying to raise the money - I would give it all to her if I had But I can only donate a small portion.

I am hoping that each person that reads this will be able to donate a few dollars for Sonny. I have copies of vet bills for verification if anyone needs them - it happened in Loxahatchee, FL and she was treated in West Palm Beach. If not for emergency vet care, Sonny would have died.

If 2,200 people could all donate just 1 dollar, we could help pay for Sonny's care - as her mom does not have the ability to pay for treatment (they are losing their home and they both work but its just not even enough to pay day to day bills.)

  Oh my word, poor Sonny. Looks like Sonny has some hound in her, couldn't pass up this wish. I'm sending a few dollars in care of the address listed above. PLEASE keep us posted on her progress and give her a big hug and kiss from a dog lover in Wisconsin!

  Thank you to everyone - we collected about $500 which is great! Every penny helps and Sonny is MUCH better.....will have new pics for those of you who have helped out - she is running around and just as frisky as ever. The only residual side effect is a small pee-pee problem and the doctor thinks that it should resolve itself when her internal injuries heal completely. Thanks again to everyone!!!

  Oh my, I am SO terribly sorry about your dog.I feel so awful that I cannot help you. You are one of my Heros that saved my kids Christmas and here you are with only $3 in donations for your poor pooch right now.I so Wish I could help you,it breaks my heart so much.In fact,we are still hurting and are being put out of our home in a week,but we found a home somewere by Gods will.BUT,we are waiting for some money to come on our Pay Pal account for something we had to sell on Ebay,and when it claers,I can try to give you a lil something,even though its not near enough for your bill.I want to show my gratitude for your kind,unselfish and generous heart.PLEASE pm me,so I can find out how you are doing.I hope your okay and so sorry about your dog.Please help her heros,she has a BIG heart of gold!She put smiles on my kids faces for christmas.I will never forget!Love and god bless!

  Can you call your local newspaper and ask them to do a story about the dog and ask for donations of money for the vet bills? I have seen this done already.
  Also go into local pet shops in your hometown and take your doggie with you and explain the situation and ask if they can put donation cans in stores in the pet shops. Ask pet groomers, anyone who knows your doggie ask for help.
  Ask at your church, ask at the school if you have children if they would hold a fundraiser, bake sale, ect.....
  These are some idea's you could do. Run a ad in the newspaper for a yard sale and all proceeds go to the doggies vet bill.
  Try some of these idea's and please call all the pet shops in your area.
  I will be praying for your doggie's recovery.
  I wish I could help but I am a single mom with ALOT of finacial problems right now.

  please try some of the programs that are available to help people with vet bills. we have some listed in the forums. :)
