GRANTED!

I WISH a little help for my two girls

I hate having to come here again asking for help, but I've run out of places to turn. Last year was a huge mess, but we were finally starting to climb out of our hole, only to have my fiance get laid off in November. He immediately filed for unemployment and signed up to take a CDL course. Unemployment only sent us 1 full two-week check and 1 for one week. That was weeks ago and for some reason his benefits were ended. This has made life unbearable, but we've been trying to do any/everything possible to get money for food and needs. My oldest's 11th birthday was January 6th and I've been telling her as soon as possible I'll take her to get a small gift, but God knows when that will be. The baby has only a couple of diapers left and a jar of fruit and I have no money whatsoever left to buy these things. Her birthday is on Feb. 25th and I'm afraid that being so behind is going to ruin her birthday as well.

Last Friday, my fiance graduated from CDL school and left this morning for orientation and training at Werner. He'll be gone at least a month and a half and while I'm thrilled he'll be working again, I know it'll be tough without him. Unfortunately, like I said, we're completely broke and are running out of things fast. My fiance took a loaf of bread and PB & J with him to eat while he's gone. He will be getting paid while training, but not for a couple of weeks.

My wish is that if any of you are able, can you please donate something to help me take care of my girls for now? Even if it's just enough for diapers, wipes, and baby food that alone would ease my worries.

I know everyone is struggling right now and I hate that I'm here again asking for help, but I don't know what else to do to take care of my girls. My step-dad tells me constantly that I'm a failure and I'm really starting to think he's right. My kids deserve the world and I can't even give them the basics and it's killing me. Please, if anyone can help at all, please help us.

This is the kind of wish that I feel drawn to. You've asked before but with little material response. Now, it's time to step in and help you and those adorable girls. I'll make a donation to your Paypal, and if you'll send mailing address, I can probably send something for the late birthday.

Thank you all so very much! You are all wonderful and I truly can't express to you how much this means to me/us. The stress that I was feeling last night doesn't seem so consuming now and I am truly grateful. We do currently get food stamps, but they based it off of what my fiance's income was. I've been trying to call them to see about getting it changed, but nobody ever answers the phone. I planned on going to the office tomorrow, but we're under winter storm/blizzard warnings, so I'll have to wait a day or two, but do plan on going. I get WIC for Chey already too, and it does help, but unfortunately only covers her formula and juice (and the cereal she refuses to eat). The minute my fiance got laid off I went and applied for assistance just so we would be prepared, unfortunately I wasn't expecting his unemployment benefits to just stop for no reason. I found out tonight that he will start getting paid some for training next Thursday, instead of in 3 weeks thankfully. Thank You all!

definitely apply for foodstamps they can get them to you within 7 days if you've had NO income or the income didn't cover basic expenses like rent. The baby should also be on wic.

    praying for heros.

As you are an unmarried mother of two, apply for food stamps and WIC (for the baby). Tell them you are not working and need emergency assistance. Good luck to your family. Love that pic, by the way.

Please don't listen to the lies your step dad tells you...no one who tries is a failure...it is only in giving up and letting yourself be defeated that you fail. Keep your chin up luv...things will get better...:)

Please apply for food stamps as soon as possible. Explain your situation and they might even be able to just help you out for temp benefits, if not full benefits. For a more immediate type of assistance, please check with your local food pantries.

Please don;t be so hard on yourself, you aren't alone, your husband is really doing what's good for your family, and it will pay off with alot of smiles soon, I can feel your pain, and I sure hope that someone can offer some help that we can;t in that way, but here to tell you, you have alot to be proud of, a good husband looking out for his family, and I know you support his efforts!
