I WISH for Prayers and A Little Help

Hello everyone. I have been doing some soul searching about posting a wish. I feel I have been a pest and everyone is about sick of me. I am very stressed right now. My test results came in on my lungs and I have metastatic cancer of the lungs and it is also in my lymph nodes in my chest area. The doctor said the cancer is metastatic which means it came from me having colon cancer before or something, I cannot remember his exact words, I must of been in shock from the diagnoses, I have always believed lung cancer was a death sentence. I am sending out by mail a letter from the doctor verifying this tomorrow. I am going to try and get it faxed or emailed if the doctor will help me with that as my printer is broke and we cannot afford a new one. We are really struggling and cannot afford to buy any personal items. Our heat was broke and we received a $450 electric bill because of this. The electric company is kind of working with us. I am selling everything I can to pay the bills. I am trying to sell my CPAP machine to pay the electric, they need $200 by Thursday in order to work with us... but I am not here asking for help with this. My main concern is the items we need daily and personally like shampoo, conditioner, Q-tips, food for my constant companion, my baby dog Titus, toilet paper... you get the idea. To add to everything my sons girlfriend just told us she is pregnant and her parents kicked her out so she is here with us. I could not let her be in the streets. She is 18 but in her last year of high school which I insist and she agrees to finish. Oh, I am so stressed... I am having a hard time with my diabetes, we do not have hardly any food so I am cutting back so the kids have food. Please if anyone can help whether it is a prayer, used items, anything you can help with. I am not asking for gift cards, feel greedy asking, but they would help. Please help me....     I am a freebie addict, and have quite a collection of shampoo & conditioner samples, etc. - if you would like some of these, I will send you a padded envelope stuffed full of them. I'm sorry I can't do more, but this is something I can do. Has your son's girlfriend signed up for WIC? That would help a lot.     Right now all I can do is say thank you so very much. The outpouring of love and support means so much to me. Everyone here at WUAH are a big part of my family and are always in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I could personally do something for each and every one of you and one day I will.     Good morning everyone, I think I am back for now, lol. The procedure putting in the port-a-cath really kicked me from behind. I have been so sore and tired for the past couple of days. So far today is starting out a little better. I can tell it is healing because it is itchy, oh it is so hard to not scratch it. What made it harder is I could not lift anything or do much around here and that has drove me crazy. This has made it so hard for me this week... my cousin is down from Maine and I have not seen him for 3 or 4 years now, my Dad is getting married this Thursday... at my house. I need to try to get things done for that. All of this was planned before I knew I had to have everything done. I thought I had some time and it has all hit at once. Aggh, I need to get my house clean, lol.

    Hello, just a quick update. I got the port in today. It hurts so bad now that the anesthesia has worn off. I was so sick to my stomach afterward and on the way home but I came in and went to sleep and feel better that way, just tired but did not want to sleep all evening. They put the port in and ran the tube into my right jugular vein, they told me nothing strenuous, no lifting for a few days so it could heal because if I bust the stitches I could bleed really bad. So now all I can do is rest. I just sent a PM of this post to those of you who have PMed me to see how I am, I would rather write a personal note to all but I am just to tired and sore, lol. I love you all and want to thank you all so very much for everything. God Bless.

    Hello Hero's. Sorry I have not posted any updates. I have been keeping up with some through PMs. I have been so tired and my chest has been hurting some but mostly just been busy getting ready for tomorrow. They said I would be sore and need to take it easy for a couple of days.... there goes my Valentines Day, lol. I just wanted to make sure the house was neat and we had the things we need for these couple of days. ((((HUGS))))

    onewhocares, I took the post off trying to sell the machine... I got some "threatening" PM's about this, lol. Not really threatening, that is why it is in quotations, they were really sweet messages. I have received so much support here and so many kind loving words and much support. I am proud to call WUAH my family.

    Gift card will be in the mail tomorrow or Tuesday. Wishing you some relief from all the stress. Please DON'T sell CPAP machine---that is necessary for breathing through the night! I use mine faithfully after learning of people whose cause of death was listed as "sleep apnea."
