I know this sounds weird or maybe even silly but my female chihuahua is only 3lbs. And the other one is about 7lbs. They get so cold in the winter. We already had snow flurries yesterday (luckily it didn't stick) and they just shakes so much even in the house. My littler one is so cold.

Wal-mart has sweaters on sale for 5.00 each that I'm pretty sure will fit both of them. Luckily my male chi already has clothes so he is warm while my 2 little ones shiver.

Maybe even used sweaters would work? they are just so cold!

I have a teacup chihuahua. she thinks I am crazy and refuses to move if and when I dress her up... let me see over the next couple weeks as I pack for my move... I MIGHT still have a sweater or two that she despises... (LOL - guess it's not THAT cold in TX, huh?!?)

IF I still have them, they wre ADORABLE hearts and argyle... and IF I still have, I'll offer them up. :)

Hi, Thanks for the suggestions. The baby sweater wont work as they are way too big on her. the sock may just work though! She gets so cold in the winter. Last year it wasnt too horrible because i found clothes from my male when he was smaller to fit her but I dont have any this year and she has grown (she was a baby last year ...just turning 1 this year)
I'll try the sock and see if it works until hopefully I get a hero :)

Awe! Mine freezes to but mine is small enough that I can take a tube sock and cut off the foot. Put in two small holes for the feet and it makes a warm sweater. I think this should work for your 3 pound one till you get a hero to answer your wish! Good Luck!

Ahhh Bless their Hearts~~I know this is off the wall~~but have you considered going to a second hand shop in your area and just buying then a baby infant sweater. Just put their 2 front paws one in each sleeve and button (no messes at the end of the sweater)LOL. This is a time when I wish I knew how to crochet for I would make them all a sweater or 2 from "Santa Paws"!! Blessings to all. Love and Light...

Thank you so much! she is a joy! So outgoing and happy pup. She is almost old enough to be tested to be a therapy dog like my others. I can't wait! But she is sooo cold right now she hides under the blankets most of the day and I put warm blankets on her from the dryer to keep her warmer :)
