The Wish Upon A Hero Foundation generally does not make wishes to raise funds for individuals in needs. But we feel that this person's situation need our support.

Josh Richards is the Founder of the Walk on Foundation. They have granted incredible wishes for many people. He is a true hero. Click on the links below.

Josh is now in need of help. He can no longer work due to multiple illnesses. Including renal disease and Chronic Kidney disease in which he will have a kidney removed. Josh also needs costly hearing aid and can no longer afford those types of expenses on unemployment. To make matters worse his daughter has diabetes and need to be taken care of.

Although Josh runs a charity, it would not look appropriate to raise money for staff members. So the Wish Upon A Hero Foundation will raise that money for him. We are looking to raise at least $3200 to cover the cost of the hearing aids.

Josh has helped so many people, we are asking everyone to please help Josh.

I will keep Josh and his family in my prayers. When I needed an oximeter, Josh tried to help me get one and I appreciated it so much! I traveled for over 6 hours to meet and raise money with Josh not that long ago. Josh and his family are some of the nicest people I have ever been blessed to have met. Josh,my friend the second I am in the postion to help you I waill do just that doll. in the meantime open up on the those "umbrellas" and cover up from all the negative things that are happening right now :0))) I adore you my friend and I am anxiously waiting for our PHILLIES!!!!/ mets game

I am sorry to hear about all of your health issues and then Alports Sydrom being passed on to your daughters...All of you are in my prayers.I can kinda relate because my younger brother at the tender age of 5yrs old was diagnoised with Diabeties and the doctorts at the time said that my brother probally would not live to be 35yrs old.Well in July 2010 my brother turned 38yrs old.He is now end stage renal He has no kidneys Gregory doesnt produce urine and goes to dialisis four times a week.He recently had fourway heart bypass surgery and not long into His recovery one of the wires that heald His chestplate together sevaired through the bone He went back in for sugery.Gregorys recocovery is ok but he still needs a kidney,eye surgery and a herneia surgery.We take it day by day.... good luck to you.

Hello Josh, its been a while since I was on this group, but I know about renal failure, as I have been on dialysis for the past couple of years due to total kidney failure, not to mention other major health problems. And yes there is much out of the pocket expenses that one has to cover, transportation to dialysis units, which average 12 trips a month, sometimes you might receive a grant to help with transportation costs, but it is barely enough for about 6 trips a month for me. Then the food you can eat or cannot eat eat is costly too, Or at least it us for me. Lots more expenses than most people realize, I wish I could help you but I too find myself in finanially bind too, but I can say a prayer for you and hope the Lord will hear and he help you over this health problem. Never give up and keep fighting to live it is worth it. My prayers being sent in for you and yours. Keep up the good work you have been doing for others.

wow i truely wish i could help, infact walk on just purchased my son 8 cans of formula which i should recieve tomorrow, if at some point i can come up with any money i will gladly help, i send my prayers
