I WISH For food for my kids...getting desperate!

My wish is for help.....My son is autistic and on a special diet (dye free and GF- CF diet) he ended up having to go off his diet because of lack of food. He becomes more hyper and dispondant....but we don't have 'his' foods here. I was also hopeing to make him special Christmas cookies...glutin free,but that isn't important.
My husband lost his job when the company closed and has sence found another job. I applied for food stamps,but it takes 90 days to get them! In 90 days we should be back on our feet! I just took my last few dollars to pay for Zithromax for my son who now has an ear infection and possible pnemonia.

I have asked for a couple things in the past...please ignore them because this is much more inportant!We need to get food in the house asap... Even my daughter is more concerned with what goes in her belly than what goes under the tree. Thank-you for reading and God bless you and your family!

  Please send me your address and tell me what stores are near you. Do you order the gluten free stuff online?
  I don't know how much I can help, but I sure understand autism and will send you something. It won't be a lot, as the mother of 2 autistics and wife of an autistic husband, I know that feeding these people is difficult even if they aren't on a GF diet. THey have so many sensory issues and hang ups about certain foods.

  I went and looked at the Feingold diet...looks interesting,but still I don't jave the $69.00 =shipping that they ask for.

  we had an appointment with a DAN doctor,but when we lost our insurance that was cancelled.Everything is on hold until the end of January when we get our insurance.

  Have you looked into the Feingold diet? They will help families who cannot afford to pay for the lists of what to eat, and membership.

  Instead of a Doctor have you looked into a Dietitian or a Developmental Pediatrician?

  The biggest problem is know one (doctor wise) will put in writing that it is a medical necessity...they say it is our choice so SS will not call it an emergency!

  When you applied for food stamps there should have been an emergency needs portion to fill out and in most states you can get them the same day. I know this is true for CA, NJ and FL from previous experience.
