I WISH Food

My husband lost his job in December and he's been doing odd jobs here and there to get us by. It's been tough and we're making it work together but we could use a little help with groceries. We still don't qualify for food assistance from our local pantries but at least we qualify for the state insurance at a discounted price for the baby. We could really use toiletries like toilet paper and toothpaste as well as basic non perishables. Anything you have hanging around you won't eat, we would be happy to have, we're not picky! Thank you so much to all of the members on here who have granted our previous wishes. I am so lucky to have found this wonderful community and I'm truly grateful to the lady who pointed it out to me :)

I'm still looking for a job that has positions available within the hours my daycare is open. I only have experience in fast food and retail so that makes it harder, but I know I'll get something, hopefully soon. If not it looks like the baby will be home with us instead of in school. Maybe my next wish should be for a job! :)

    thank you for your advice darbysgirl. With my husband freelancing and doing odd jobs right now, it's hard for him to watch the baby because he has no set schedule which makes it really hard for me to let anyone know for sure when I can work, other than the daycare hours, which are only daytime. It would be great if we had some family around here to watch her in the evenings!

    Maybe you and your husband can watch the baby after daycare closes? I know that is what my nephew's parents do. Yes it takes so sacrifice but it can be done especially if family is hurting.
