My son is going to be 11 months old soon. Just today we found out that he has a submucous cleft palate, mild hearing loss in right ear, constant fluid in left ear, needs adnoids takin out. They are also going to put a scope in his nose to see why he can't breathe and if and when he is sleeping if he's stopping breathing, as his upper part of his mouth turns a bluish shade when he gets up. He's been very ill recently, and this surgery is going to be hard on us...


We would love to shower him with some soft foods number 3 oatmeals/vegies/fruits *no dinners* soft cuddly animals, some clothing 12-24 months onezies as he goes thru about 10 a day,and while i'm down there he's going to be wearing them... Also donations so that i can eat while i'm down there would be nice. He's getting the surgery done at the end of the month.

This is going to be a never ending cycle till he's older as he has to be tested every 3 months for his bloodwork, to make sure he's okay, and ultrasounds to make sure he has no tumors growing as they said he has a clinical BWS. Has to go down to Children's hospital every few months to see the following people: anthropologists, audiologists, dentist, family laiison, gentic conselor, neurosurgeon, Pediatric nurse practitioners, ophtalmologists, oral surgeons, orthodontists, ENT, pediatric team, plastic surgeon, prpstjpdpmosts. pyschologists, radiologists, social workers for the family. speech pathologists.

Any help right now, as this is killing us on gas and food, to keep going down, and we badly need things for him, like bottles, cups, food or coupons for number 3 foods, clothing sizes 12-24months USED IS JUST FINE, Donations to help us out getting there and eating and getting things he needs..
