Need Food for my Family ASAP!

Im trying this again once more in the hopes that my faith in humanity can be restored. My wife,daughter, and I and the other two people who live with us have no food and no way to get any food untill the first of the month. I have a job in fact, I have several jobs, yet with me being the only one working its very hard to make ends meet. I work for a car dealer selling cars nad when Im not doing that I do yard work weather permitting or any other odd job I can find. Ive always been of the notion that God helps those that help themselves Im trying my hardest and lord knows things have gotten much better here recently but I nar I see we need just a little bit of help to become totally self sustainable. For someone who has several college degrees and is very intellegient things should not be that hard. Come on people restore my faith in the fact that people really do help each other out and that we are not all just a bunch of cynics

We do help each other out to the very best of our abilities. Every hero does what he/she can in whatever way he/she can. There are thousands and thousands of wishes that will never be granted but not because of a lack of caring. I would venture to say that every hero takes away from themselves and/or their family, even just a little, every time the hero partially or fully grants a wish. Good luck to you.

I didnt many to insult anyone. Problem with the food banks here in Indy is that they are overwhelemed and we dont have a car so it would be hard to get there. We do get foodstamps but $400 for five people does not go very far the Indiana DFR loves to F people over and they have with my family several times

Have you tried a food bank where you live , I knoe chuches will help you as well. At the food bank as you have to do is go up there have ID's or ss cards for children and show pay stub . Good luck I hope you find the help you need .

Indianapolis is a much larger city than I'm in and we have a Union Gospel Mission that serves to the public daily. You might look into soup kitchens, shelters, Missions-all of which are frequented by many Hero's and Wishers here when low on food. Hero's here (and all around you) GIVE in many ways, CASH has gotten harder to come by. Is there some reason a household of five with one part time worker isn't availing themselves of foodstamps?

I find your wish is quite offensive. Your last sentence says it all. People on here DO help each other out. Maybe you will get more heroes if you don't insult them. Good luck to you....
