for my car to be fixed or a new car to transport disabled son to doctors!

Im a mom to two children and out of work lost my last job due to sons medical issues. He has a rare form of epilepsy called lgs and he also has Williams syndrome. My car is about to fall apart burning oil and the exhaust system is breaking apart plus the tire keeps losing air and i just do not have the money to fix or replace it i need help. My son must go to Philadelphia often i live almost 2hrs away from there and with the new treatment they want to use for the lgs it will require more visits then we already have to make. My sons care means the world to me and i can not care for him with no car please some one help!!

motor is about to blow this is horrable idk what to do even when i finish school in 3 weeks how am i going to take a job if idk if the car will make it. :.(

good he was diagnosed at 6months old. he is now 5 his nero is talking about wanting to put him on the diet. Does it work as well as they say it does?

My son will be 13 in August.His seizures are "managable" for the moment.Combination of old school ketogenic diet and two different meds for the past several years but he does have break through seizures.Nothing compared to what he use to have.I understand about a long drive.Two and half hours one way to see his neuro.But worth it.He has had seizures since he was 7 months old so it has been a never ending battle.How is your son doing?

i have and they said i need the whole exhaust from the heads to the back done, breaks, tire and tune-up. and the cheapest place i found is $600. its very frustrating because i just dont have that amount in cash up front and no one will make payment arrangements. How old is ur child and how is ur child's lgs?

have you had anyone, such as a mechanic, look it over to figure out what exactly is wrong with your vehicle, so you will know an exact estimate to repair it?
I understand the challenges faced with having a child with LGS.

even if there is a locale mechanic that could fix it and let me make small monthly payments would be a life saver. I'd be willing to let them hold the title til it was payed off im that desperate
