We founded ThisArk Animal Rescue in 1993. Throughout the years we have taken in many animals. Dogs, cats, birds, raccoons, possums, snakes, turtles and even a caimen crocodile! All of them came with a sad story. Most of these animals were adopted by good families who have given them a Forever Home!

The animals who live here now are very elderly or somehow impaired in ways that make them unadoptable. 2 of the dogs, Jackie and Jasmine, are over 14 years old and Jasmine is blind. The parrot, Noah, is still recovering from the near starvation he suffered and requires special care. We provide care for all these animals, so they can live out their lives as comfortably as possible.

Because of the bad economy and the loss of our fulltime jobs, we are no longer able to take in new animals. But those who still live here need warmth, food, medication, and Love!
