MARINE VET with MS HERO who NEEDS our help! HANDICAP VAN

My name is Marnie, I am sending a wish request for my friend Scott Bates (posted in my profile pic). He is a Marine Vet with MS! He tried to win a new handicap mobility van and didn't! Since then, he has purchased a USED handicap van that needs some body work and upgrades. I am posting the link to his story which shows his van and a TV interview! Scott can not use his arms or legs. He is a graphic designer by using a micro chip on his hat that tells his brain to tell the computer what to do! He likes to design cars for NASCAR drivers and did so last year for JJ Yeley! My wish is for him to have the money he needs to fix his handicap van or a brand new one that doesn't need fixing. Scott fought for our country and now he needs our help! He is an INSPIRATION to us all to NEVER GIVE UP! I can't think of a better way to thank a Vet than by giving back! Another crazy thought, how about Driver's and their Sponsor's decals on Scott's handicap van? Free advertising!

This is just a thought but, why wouldn't NASCAR donate a van for Scott so he can design it and advertise for them? Free advertising! Makes sense to me!

Wow, thank you for all of the views today and the past two days! Scott needs $400.00 for his van by Monday! We can not use any of the money that has already been donated thus far until we "Grant Our Wish", I believe? As you have seen, this is my first time doing this so I'm not sure of all the rules. Charles from Handicapped Vechile Services Unlimited called me to see what they can do to help. They are calling Scott to get some info on his van. Hopefully, they can help out. I will keep everyone posted. I gave them Scott's phone number, with Scott's permission to do so of course.

I received an e-mail from secuirty@wishupon a hero asking me to get certified. Needing proof that I live where I do, which is no big deal but do I need to do it or does Scott Bates since he is the person I am wishing for?

Good morning everyone! We have made some progress and we thank you so very much! We aren't completely there YET but I know we will make it. This all brings tears to my eyes, thank GOD there are still great people in this world. What an awakening for me! Today is World MS day 2012! (Multiples Sclerosis) Let's KILL this disease!
